Diesel Power

hi all, any one see the add in the new diesel power magazine for the S&B intake? any good, i think its an oiled filter? i was thinking of going with the AFE but there saying it lets 6.25% more dirt by?

I call BS on the S&B they took over banks 6 page adds this month.

I would go with a Tymer also but with an Amsoil non oiled filter instead of replacing low flow wix filters.

Whatever filter you decide make sure it's a conicle design

Take a look at the Baldwin PA2818 it cost around $38 and is the biggest and cleanest air filter you can fit under the hood. I have a pic of it in my sinature link.

Ill just keep the critics at bay and stick with my KN system. I will note, that in my DP magazine yesterday, i was utterly POed because that stupid little bag of dust busted open in the magazine getting everything dusty.

AFE stage 2... its the last intake you will ever buy... Get the proguard if your worried about a little dirt.. I have the standard and over 150k with no issues...

The test was also done with dry fitlers compared to the S&B filter.
