exhaust is in..

the exhaust came in the mail, it weighed 85 lbs. is a 4" turboback i got from a seller on ebay. it has a 30" resonator. Guess ill take it to muffler man this saturday, I dont have any time during the week to do it anyways.

btw thats not a cat under there about 3 feet before the muffler is it? he wont remove cats, i didnt think i had any until i looked under there today.

Yes it is....Just get under there with a sawzall and cut out the factory exhaust -- then all he'll have to do is remove the downpipe and install the new system...

then take your cat and exhaust to the scrap yard and get some $$ back

sounds good to me, theres a junk yard right by muffler man. How long do u think its gonna be on a scale 1-10 if right now is a 1. 30" muffler pretty skinny, straight through, and no other restrictions.

ah, well - not sure which one you got - but I have a 4" turbo back, no kitty, high flow muffler, to 5" SS tip and I'd say its about a 3 over stock being a 1... (inside the cab) and only notice the difference at highway speeds

outside - about a 5 and notice the difference all the time (ie. with the windows down)

Actually with the muffler it won't be much louder then stock. You need to do a muffler delete pipe to get the noise.

sounds perfect, I can't wait.. on friday I'm gonna have to cut the cat out and take it up the road to have it put on. the guy i bought it from says about 25 hp and 44 ft lbs. does that seem right? Also 300* drop in egt. I know that on all my gassers when i got exhaust put on i gained about 2 mpgs how about this truck?
