hutch mod, will a 6.0 liter fuel pump work on 7.3?

Looking into doing the hutch and harpoon mod on my 2003 7.3. since the mixing chaimber and the screens will be gone, has anyone put a 6.0 liter pump with the 10 micron filter in it instead of the oem 7.3 pump?

Never heard of that. Guess you could make it work. You could also just get a filter base and put something like a B1212 pre pump.
Now, you don't need a filter pre pump though. The stock pick up foot only has a screen. Not like it protected the pump.

Yeah i have been searching and cant really find anything. I mean i am not goind for power gain, or for major future engine power ups. But this unit also works as a water separator, and filter. I have to look more into it.

The stock filter works as a filter and water separator. You could do the 6.0 pump but they aren't that reliable. And the return and feed lines all flow through it so you'd have to run custom hard lines.
