boost fooler
I just made a homemade boost fooler for my 2001, I get a service engine light soon when im running my eco tune. I was wondering will the boost fooler fix my problem and if anyone is running them have they had a problem after installing them or noticed any changes in how there truck ran?

So you have a SES light, and rather then check the codes to see what the possable code or reason is... You add a blow off valve or regulator.

I ment picture all it is, is an adj air regulator with a barbed fitting on each side that goes I n my map line.[IMG]
[/IMG]No I checked my codes and all it says is high temp air which is from UN plugging my air sensor when I added my cold air. The only time the ses light comes on is when my eco tune is on, I think im over boosting because it goes into defueling. |

More then likely its an ICP code rather then a boost code. What boost level are you getting?

About 15 lbs

If it's my icm, what would be the easiest way to fix it?

Is that a true regulator, or just a needle valve (which is more of an adjustable orifice)? A needle valve will control volume of flow but not actual pressure. A regulator shuts off the air flow past a set pressure.
