I DID IT!!!

well i just got done rebuilding my turbo. i put in the banks big wheel, did the ebpv delete, and tighted the poo outta the wg actuator. i started it up and let it idle for a few minutes while i put up tools and checked for leaks. none. took it down the road and was a little let down first by the sound, not much different than stock, and second, performance wise it seemed about the same also. but hopefully the turbo surge will be a little less while pulling my 5er... Well just wanted to tell you guys of my acomplishments and see if you guys have any feed back on my issues...thanks Rod

Sweet - so did you upgrade the turbo or just the wheel??? Congrats on getting it done yourself though! Thats awesome!

I only did the wheel for now...more will come. Hopefully i will be home by then, i am currently in jacksonville florida at a campground (made the turbo work that much more interesting). Building some apartments, should be done in about a month...rod

thats kinda what i figured to...i wont really notice the difference until i load her up good...I was going to take pics and do a small write up, but wifes camera took a dump the other day. i will have to buy her a new one.

Yeah I bet once you put a load on it and get the boost up in the high teens or better it comes to life.

last week we did the same thing on my dads truck, his is the same truck but with auto tranny and edge, and the turbo sings...i just expected mine to sound about the same...
