It supplies high pressure oil to fire the injectors. If you are running some tunes where your HPOP can't keep up with demand a larger one can help out. Also if your old one gets tired the fuel won't fully atomize so you would loose some power.

Well depends on if you need one or not.
Tons of other cheaper mods to do before you start dropping that money.
How HEUI works and best to convert
