van turbo on my 01?

I just started to notice all this talk of van turbos on out pickups..guess I just never paid to much attention to it but now im wondering what the difference and benefits along with does anything need to be moded to make it work or if its bolt on?

it has a larger exhaust housing 1.15 ar, it will drop the egts but will be laggier. vans had the larger exhaust housin because they dont have an intercooler. as far as i know the 99-03 should drop right in
