Found this and was wanting to know if I installed this and a real exhaust brake if it would be too much on the engine.

The EBPV and a regular exhaust brake will not be too much.

Dont waste your money. This is extremely simple to make. Here are some very detailed instructions. If you buy everything at radio shack it should cost you almost $10 to build.
