i have a 99 F250
Sct programmer
i did an update to the programmer today and when it finished i went to select a program for the truck....the programmer is recognizing my truck as a 7.3 Excursion...any ideas why it would do this or how to fix the problem..sct is closed at this time.

I just got my SCT today for mine which is also a 99. I plugged it in and checked for updates and now get the same thing as you.

anyone? sct is closed till after new years. I reinstalled the updates and the programmer is still saying 7.3 Excursion.

Maybe try DP Tuner, I think they use SCT as a platform for their tunes.

called innovative diesel today. They suggested reinstalling the new firmware. I did that and the programmer is still reading my truck as a 7.3 Excursion.

Maybe someone replaced the computer with a excursion computer.

I bought the truck with the programmer. It worked in the truck. I updated the firmware. The computer was not changed.

Got a custom tune from Innovative Diesel today. For some reason my factory SCT tunes wont upload to my truck. The custom tune did work though. I am very please with Innovative Diesel.
