so i am installing my regulated return soon and i am ordering my last parts i need but i don't know what i am going to do for the return line i have the whole supply side done with a fuel bowl delete from strictly diesel but can i use the exciting fuel supply line or something for the new fuel system return line? if so what size is it and how would i hook it up?
I just put that system on my 7.3 and yes Strictly diesel has an adapter for the return line. Make sure you borrow a fuel line disconnect tool or build one llike I did. But its Much easier than running a whole new return line and/or trying to make your own adapters to match the stock return line.
But its like $49.99 for the adapter line that goes from the new regulator to the stock return line. And Saves alot of time!
Depends on what pumps you're using.
I'm going to do a 5/8" pickup tube, 5/8" line to a water sep. pre filter, split off to 3/8" dual lines to dual stock pumps then into a post pump high eff. filter, then a 1/2" line up to the heads and regulator, then either use the stock return line or use the stock feed line since it won't be used anymore.
ya that is exactly what i am doing but i wasn't sure about trying to use the stock fuel line or the return line that is what i was thinking but i don't want to have a horrible long down time and want all my parts and don't know what to get to do this
You mean you're debating using the stock feed line or stock return line as your new return line off the FPR?
Sorry, I just keep re-reading it and it doesn't make sense.
Not sure why I never replied. I'd call Strictly and see what they think is best. It's probably be fine using the stock return line.
