need some help

okay noticed my truck this morning in overdirve doesnt want to build up boost past 3 psi until I reach about 55 then it will hesitate and then run as much boost as I want. In all my other gears i dont have any problems, just overdirve till about 50-55. Whats up with that. Figure you guys would know, but if its a costly fix dont even tell me lol
