benifits of muffler delete

I just did the muffler delete on my 4" system (no cat) What is the benifit of this? It is really much more quiet than I expected. Although the turbo sure sounds good. Is there much of a benifit other than lower EGT'S?

I know on my 6.0L i ran it without the muffler since I got my MBRP turbo back. Without the cat, WOW! It got more "clackity" but i got used to that. but the turbo made up for it quite easily! LOVE the turbo whistle- gotta be one of my ALL time favorite sounds

BOOM! instant "sliding" rear window! HA-HA! The wing windows work pretty good too! The slider with stacks really lets all the sound in tho!
