installed and tuned xcaliber2..

So I just installed the SCT excaliber2. I pluged it in and did all the directions and set it on performance, 5 percent increase in shifts, and didnt change anything else except removal of speed limiter.. I have a stock truck other than the tuner. So I didn't know if it would be safe to change WOT shifts or rev limiter. So I have a few questions.

1.) Whats the highest percent increase in line pressure and keep it safe and still feel nice when i take the family for a ride?
2.)Any suggestions on WOT speeds or Rev limiter speeds?
3.) Is performance the max hp or is street? Im guessing performance.

I took it for a ride right after, and it was a nice little difference, doesn't feel like 250 extra tq. but it is nice. a small change.. Is there anything else I can do? thanks.
Steve

I don't think you will see or feel much of a difference until you get an intake, exaust system and GAUGES.

You put your tuner on a STOCK truck?

yea its a canned tune and i put it on a stock truck. Here in the florida keys there isnt anywhere to go fast.. i just wanted a lot of easy hp and tq. it actually feels nice,

does anyone know about shift points, firmness, or top rpm? stock i belive is 3650, and it goes up 100 with everytime u arrow up.

SCT tuning is best left to the experts. You need to find a good custom tuner to burn you some real tunes. The canned tunes from the factory are weak compared to what a custom tuner can do for you.

Basically you tell them the results that you want and they will make it happen.

so the canned tune didnt give me 120hp and 250 tq like they said? it doesnt feel like that much. more like 50hp and 100 tq.

what should i do? can i send them back my can or do i send them my core? or can i get my money back for the can and send them my core and have them tune it for the same as i bought the chip for? how big of a difference is there?

thanks.
