write up ?

how hard is it to put a valve body or shift kit in? is there a write up?

Not that hard at all.....I put one in my 98 GMC, the key is in taking everything apart. Make sure you keep good track of where everything goes....but I'm sure a tech will be along soon!

looks easy. Where is the best place to buy one? about how much do they run? when my tranny shifts into overdirve now, it like goes in then out then back in od. Will it help this out or does it just make it shift quicker? what exactly does it do?

It changes the line pressure mechanically to firm up the shifts which in turn actually is better for your trans less friction and heat created. The writeup is a valve body from Brians Truck Shop I think they run about 250 bucks.
