Turbo whine

Hello folks. New member, thanks for your help in advance.

OK here is what im looking for. I have a 2000 f-350 (turbo 7.3) that I just bought about 3 months ago with 66 thousand miles. The original owner did some work on the truck like 4 inch stainless exhaust and magnum force cold air intake. I know the truck does not have a catylitic converter but it does have a small stainless muffler. I am trying to get the turbo to WHINE as loud as possible. If I could get it to sound like a 747, i would. I do not use the truck to pull anything. Just use it to look good and run around town, so Im really not interested in building power. I figured with the exhaust and the cold air, I would hear the stock Garrett turbo, but its quiet as a mouse. What bolt ons or add ons could I get to make this puppy scream, even at idle?? New turbo wheel?? If so which one is the louder? Different cold air or filter.....i have no idea, so i turn to you guys...HELP!!!!

Get rid of the muffler and go straight pipe. You can add the whicked wheel that will make is scream and you can remove the silver foil from the cac tube on the drivers side.

thanks, if im not really interested in making power and dont think I will ever even put a hitch on this truck, do you think i need an ATS housing and the wicked wheel to get this whine. Or just the wicked wheel with the stock housing....?

The ww will give you some whine by itself, but if you want sick whine go with both. Also if you ever decide to add a chip or tuner and you probobly will you will already be ahead of the game for turbo surge

And the muffler will really muffle the sound alot so get rid of it! Get a muffler delete pipe you will thank me!!!!

Nothing is going to give you the sound you want... Maybe a 6.0 turbo swap...

Im with them. Wicked wheel and straight pipe along with the foil delete is about as much whistle as you will get. Oh, Welcome to the site too!!

anyone know anything about the HTT turbo housing...? Better, worse, or the same as a ATS?

OK ummmm I am so lost here lol... someone explain to a lost soul what the heck a foil delete and WW is please..
