DPP Mod for AIS air filter kit A++++++
I dont know if this thread is already bouncing around, but I have the Ford AIS kit on my truck and last night installed the DPP air box modification and LOVE it! I have always had a problem of sucking my air filter minder across at WOT due to mods and they arent kidding. I really notice the power down low, kinda makes up for them 36x14.5s I am turning. Next is the zoodad mod to help the breathing process.. Just my .02

What is a "DPP mod"? I've searched the forum and the web, but can't find anything refering to diesels.

OK, I see now. I considered that mod when I bought the AIS kit for my truck. I decided not to tap into the wheel well because I didn't want to have to deal with all of the extra dirt that would clog the expensive Donaldson filter. The "DPP Mod" pulls air from directly above the driver's side front wheel. With replacement filters running nearly $100, I decided to just stick with the "ZooDad mod".
