Hey you smoke stackers!

I need advice, I think I want smoke stacks i have never been in a truck with them, how does it sound? is it overly loud? vibrations? and 1 or 2 stacks?

Mine are a little louder than my 4" straight pipe. I dont have any probelms with them. The only time mine get a little OLD are highway speeds at 70 mph. I am geared 4.10, so mine comes on a little sooner. If I go 2mph +/-, it goes away. To solve this though, you can get some drop in muffs for the mitre cut and straight cut stacks. Not sure about other bends or cuts though.

Sounds awesome. As close to a big rig as you can get without the whole size thing, HAHA. Logan and I both have crew cabs and I think you have a regular cab? So yours would be a lot louder. Some other guys have posted in the past that stacks were a little loud right next to your head. As far as 1 or 2 stacks it's prolly just personal preference. I think one looks weird. I don't think there is a performance issue with 1 or 2. It's whatever you like.

I used to have 6 inch turn outs and recently went to a mitre cut. I like the looks of the mitre alot better but they are way louder. And no more cruzin with the back window open cuz smoke rolls in. thats the only thing i dont like about the mitre cut. Other than that you cant beat the sound of a stacked stroker!!

2 mitre cut stacks! and i think they are onlly loud when the windows are down, with the windows up and the radio on my engine is louder than the stacks!

I have 6in mitres and when you want it to bark she will bark, but at cruise speed they are not that bad at all.

Thanks for the feedback, this is a big one for me, because I tow alot, but I do have a supercab so it wont be right behind my head. I might just try them and if I dont like it take it out..

When I get it all done I will post pics I plan on doing it myself, probably should address my tranny problems first though... but thats no fun

i got 7" mitre cuts with no muff and they are awesome. like said above if you want to make theke them loud, then just romp on it, if not then just cruise.

do it and you will like it trust me.
