oil choices?

Say i would like to take a pole of what engine oils you guys prefer for a mostly stock rig. Just want to know what kind your using, cost, and if you're happy with it. I don't know how to set up those little pole things but just a regular reply works for me! Thanks everyone

I run Shell Rotella 15w40 in the summer and 10w30 in the winter. The thinner oil in the winter helps these old dinosaurs start a little easier and quieter.

Rotella 15w40

Wally World has it for $8.88 / gallon and I can get 10% off of that. I have 14 gallons in garage right now. May try a lighter oil this winter if I experience hard cold starts. First winter.

Rotella T 15/40.. Reasons i can get it about ne where, ( I do not believe in mixing oils) Wen i was working i went some brutial winters at chicago O'Hare airport an it started first time every time, Got tons of white smoke but.... The ohter oils bug me because if i need a qt or 2 in podunk someplace i can get rotella i cant get amsoil or some exotic one.......... and its approved and proven..... Whats the ole saw: "Dont change horses in the middle of hte streem" ALSO If it is good enough for my sons 150K$ peterbuilt year round i recon its good enough 4 my powerstroke <BILL>

Rotella T 15/45
Oil changes cost enough without the expensive oil.
And a Million farmers cant be wrong, thats all they run into most of their equipment.
If Rotella is good enough for a $60,000 to $150,000 tractor, it is good enough for my truck!!
