Finally got my DP

So I sold the hypertech about 1.5 weeks ago and put in my order for a DP over at ITP. I was at freshman orientation for college and we have to spend the night there without internet except these little computer stations. So I checked my email and I got the confirmation letter saying that it was to arrive on the 10th. Well when the 10th came, I literally stayed glued to the window for the big brown truck . Every time I would hear a deep diesel like rumble, I'd run to the door like a dog lol.

Well it finally came and literally within 2 minutes of it arriving on my doorstep, the hood was popped and the tailgate was down I called a couple of my buddies to come hang out and witness the change in performance haha. The first time I cleaned the PCM wasn't clean enough so the engine wouldn't turn or anything. I pulled out again to make sure it was perfectly clean and reinforced the chips position with good ol' trusty duct tape. Upon getting it to start I did a take off start on 120 race and I completely smoked out my neighborhood street....IT WAS BAD A$$!!!! Didn't know that was possibly coming out of my truck.

I can feel the difference between this and the hypertech, and I'm loving it. It's shifting pretty hard into 4th though even when I'm in 80 econo, barely tapping the pedal. IDK if its suppose to do that or not but it doesnt bother me that much. The power from the race mode is absolutely amazing and my tire marks behind home depot can show you that . I haven't been able to try smoke mode yet but I can't imagine what it's going to be like since 120 race just throws coal like none other.

All in all, I'm 100% happy with my purchase. I have to thank Dennis at ITP and Jody at DP for the tuning. Oh, I just took my Dad for a test drive and gave him a glimpse of 120 race and he told me to go see how much is one for his truck!

Sounds like your gonna have fun too! IN all fairness, the Hypertech served its purpose- get you hooked, but like everything, its time came and went and you moved on to bigger and better!

Don't forget to change the signature line to the new tuner!

Very true, I do give the hypertech its props. But it cannot compare to the DP!!

Sorry for the late response guys. I got the 60 hp tow, 80 hp econo, 120 race and 140 smoke. I finally got a chance to try out the 140 smoke tune and my gosh does it smoke!!! The power is also insane too. I boost launched in it and started to see white smoke so I thought I was in trouble but then I realized there was screeching and a burnt rubber smell so I was leaving tread off my 35 in all terrains.
