Tunes by Tadd May be too much.

I just finished Installing SCT Xcal2 with Tadds Max Power ,High Power and Tow Tune. I also installed Qzilla Commander. Max Power is rolling some coal but on takeoff when you stand on it boost gets up to 31 psi and EGT's get up to a little over 1300 maybe 1350 for a split second. I think something is wrong because I took map fooler off and it doesnt defuel. It was probably 96 degrees outside am I going to cook my engine doing this. If so what else can I do besides water and meth. I need something cheap wife wont let me spend more money right now.

Thanks Mike

I would see if you can find a 6.0 intercooler. I think they can be had off of ebay for not too much. That would prolly be the next thing to do. Its a lot cheaper than a brand new one.

Hmmm i have tow power, high power, and insanity. I dont have gauges on yet, but i dont run with insanity until headstuds are in and gauges on. I prefer the Tow Power. Thats a great tune. Im getting some killer milage out of it too. I have ran the insanity for 1 day and i seem to get just a lil puf of smoke when i stop it. Do you have the option added to yours that give you fuel at low boost? I dont care much for the high power mode. It dont feel any quicker to me on that than tow power.

If you watch e-bay, you can find a used 6.0 intercooler for $150 bucks.. but dont forget you'll need the 6.0 swap intercooler boots.

You can get other wheels, but I dont think it would do much for your temps. Since you already have a good intake and exhaust, the next thing would be an IC. The nice thing about that is that it is always there, and you dont have to worry about filling up a bottle every day.

I believe you are running a 6.0 litre I dont think we are comparing apples to apples. But I greatly appreciate your help. I am going to tune down to high power till I can do something else. How hard is it for Novice Mechanic to install 6.0 cooler.

Not sure, never done one. I have pulled them before, and it just takes a little time getting everything pulled apart. It is pretty straight forward though.
