Wow seems like everyone has been doing exhaust work today. While I am stuck in prison you all are turning wrenches.

In stall went good I got the old V band clamp off with a 3/8 drive ratchet and a 38 drive knuckle. Once that was loose I just taped on the clamp part lightly with a long flat head and a hammer and it loosened right up I had to cut the stock down pipe in front of the tranny cross member to get the down tube out. the rest I cut off at the hangers but make sure you save the rubber part of the stock hanger.I originally had some issues with the new down tube being to close to the tranny line but I loosened the v band clamp so I could just move the down tube with out it coming out of the v band clamp and away from the turbo. and just rotates it until it was far enough away. I tightened up the v band clamp up enough to hold it then I put the rest in place. I recommend you get a new v band clamp from a dealer the part number is XC3Z-5A231-AA. You'll get in the kit (2) 44-1/2" pipes that are expanded at one end, you'll use both but you'll have to cut one down depending what wheel base you have. After you have everything in I would keep the clamps loose till you adjust all the pipes so the they touch anything. If you have a spare under the truck that will have to come off to do the install. Other than that it's really really easy. If you want to know anything else just let me know.

Thanks for the tips. My kit should get to me by Thursday or Friday so I should be installing next weekend. That gives me time to pick up a new clamp. Also good to here you like the sound, I was not sure when I ordered but everyone seems to prefer the straight pipe setup.
