Got my exhaust put on!

I finally got the exhaust put on my truck. I went with the 4" turbo back with a 5" tip. Got a great price from Gus at farm boys diesel! The only thing was that installation was a lot harder than i thought. Removal wasn't that easy (3 sawzall blades and some skin) and most of the pipe fit together good going back on. Also is it normal for the turbo downpipe to touch the tranny dip stick and the back of the engine? Cause mine touches both, it fit right into place but just touches under the hood in 2 places. Is this normal for a 3.5" downpipe? Oh yeah and the truck sounds great!

Oh you may have to loosen your down pipe and twist it back some to get it off the engine and the tranny. Mine does not touch no where except my spare tire it rubs a bit.

Well its barely touching the back of the head and it barely touhces the trans dipstick so either way if i move it it will still be touching something. But i don't have any rattles or noise under the hood. Everything seems to be working alright.

Over time that barely touching could become a pin hole in the down pipe. This would be caused by engine vibration. It took me and a buddy to get my down pipe on where it would not touch nothing.

Yeah i hear what you're saying about the vibrations. I will try to adjust it tomorrow. Will i have to losen up the whole system or can i just back the turbo clamp off and twist it a little?
