Broke the Mod Cherry today!

Had a Flow~Pro 4 inch Turbo back straight pipe exhaust with a 5 inch tip put on and all I can say is I love how it sounds.....

Does the tone or the sound of the turbo out the exhaust change once you add a CAI and tune?

So I went to drop the truck off today to have the tranny serviced and my girl was behind me.. she said the exhaust sounded like metal was clanging (noise) from the exhaust.. now is that something a person would hear or mistaken if they have never heard a 7.3 with a 4 inch exhaust with no cats or muffler?

Check around the down-pipe and firewall for contact. If it's a late '99 it could just be the exhaust tone.

Congrats on the new mod. You also may want to make sure everything is good and tight. As tall as your truck is, you should not have any trouble getting under there and looking

Yea its a 99.5 built in June.. Its a bolt up exhaust but I had them weld it since I dont plan on changing it... I will have the exhaust guys get under it to make sure nothing is loose ot to close to the side.
