HPOP Upgrade

What would an upgrade cost? and what would it do with only stock injectors?or just waste of money until I get injectors

Are you talking upgrade like a dual setup? I'm not sure about a single pump upgrade. but a dual setup will run you around 2000 +/- after it is all said and done. On stock injectors you'll still notice a huge difference! I'm still running stock injectors on mine with my Stealth system and it made a huge difference.

Just curious John, did it help out with drive ability, or mileage at all? Or is this strictly a power upgrade.

Driveability - you're only looking at maybe a 35hp increase, but the torque curve will be a big difference.

Not sure on prices of injectors, but I figure at least $1500 (anybody have prices?), would you get those or HPOP first?

Driveability just cruising and definately towing is 10 times better!! Mileage is about the same. I think I still have an issue with my stock injectors though. I need to get my new ones in there. They have been sitting here for 2 months but my turbo has been getting worse everyday (stupid surge) and I don't wont to kill it before I can get a new one.

yup not really a big HP increase but the torque is soooo much better.

Depends on the injectors. I'm not an expert and couldnt tell you which ones but there are several people here who have run single shot stage II's and hybrids on stock hpop with no problems. The split shots are what need big oil.

Go for the oil, the way these things drive after oil is amazing...

^^^^^^^I agree! I had stock injectors when I put my Stealth on and it was a big difference in driveability. Instead of nosing over at 2200 RPM it pulls all the way to the redline.

Did you have your chip retuned to take advantage of the new hpop system? It's not necessary to feel the power but most people say you need tuning to take full advantage of it, i.e. turn the hpop pressure up. Just a though, might help with the mileage and give you even a little more pop.

I've got the Terminiator system on mine and while it was a big difference in drivability w/o additional programming, David makes good use of it in, for instance, my mileage program.

No I have not. I'm trying to wait until I get a new turbo so I can install my injectors then take it over to Wildman and have him tune it.
