is this too good to be true?

i was looking on ebay today and i was searching TS chips up. there was a store that was selling them where you could select the 6 postitions and they'd put in the positions for ya. they said they were brand new not reburnt. and it came with a free air intake and it only cost 384 for the whole lot on buy it now. is it too good to be true. i might grab some of this stuff.

Be very wary of e-bay sellers. If you end up having a problem, you'll be SOL. And the chip that controls your entire truck is NOT gonna be a good place to just find the cheapest. Not to mention at that price it's unlikely he's an authorized vendor for the chip or the intake. Do you have a link to the items?

That's where I got my TS and free intake. Good guy and good service. The TS chip is awesome. The intake is a connector and a round peice of steel tubing and comes with a K&N filter. DIY intake would be better than the K&N. You could just get the TS chip by itself and do your own intake. But if you do get this setup put a different filter on it.

but is it legit? sounds good. i was expectin to pay like 450 for a chip and another 200 for an intake. i was gonna get my friends chip thats been in 2 other trucks but this sounds good. i think ima get it.

i know what an intake is but i dont really get what your saying. sorry please explain.

Yes it is legit. This is the same guy I got my chip from. The seller should be micah442 and the name of the company is Advance Diesel Performance. I was just saying that I love the chip but the intake came with a K&N filter that you will probably not want to use because they have been known to let particles of dirt through the filter. If I were you I would check with our vendors here first and see what they can do for you. Maybe they can give you just as good a deal and at least they already have a good track record with everybody here. Just my

i got my ts off of ebay for 200 bucks brand spanking new in a ts box and everything no problems at all.

yeah theres a number. if you type in TS chip it should be the first thing up if the auction isnt over.
