Personnaly, I like it and have been thinking about it. It's a little pricey though. Jobe is a great guy to work with and helped me out a lot with my intake I got from him. I've been doing some measuring and whatnot on the stock hood and have yet to find an aftermarket hood scoop that is big enough. The theory of air flowing UNDER the truck is sound too. I checked it out. Even with the hood up, while running, there is A LOT of hot air flowing under the truck. (Feels like 1/2 of it gets sucked into my shifter boot b/c there is a small tear in it.) I'm liking the 4" core too...and the rediculously short IC tubes. Yeah, it will be a PITA to do work under the hood, but how often are we laying on top of the motor per month? When I can afford it...I'm getting the Jobe IC!
For the Jobe Intake haters: Yes, it's a little expencive, and yes, it 'comes' with an Optima Red Top, and that is part of the cost...but I'm sure if you talk to him and tell him you've already got an Optima, you could same some $$$. I got mine about a year ago and it's great. I get all sorts of stuff like, "Dude, that looks bad-a$$!!!" while working under the hood. (It's friggin' easy to install too!) I didn't buy the "gasses eating up your turbo" bit, but I liked the look of it, and it was just a little more than the AFe stg2 at the time. (I got a great deal on it!) It flows great!!!
