Remote Start?

Hey yall what do yall think about remote starts for my 02 f250? any negative on installing these? which brand do u reccomend? options? im looking at a Compustar 3000 model right now. any info on these things would be great thanks, Jim

i isntalled my own on my 00.. it works great and even wired in relays for the keyless that was the biggest PITA

Just got an automate.Works pretty good but I have to extend the crank time a little.It was fighting me in the 4 degree weather.

im looking at 2 models the compustar and autopage. both are similiar in features and price! they both have a setting for really cold nights where it starts your rig every 3 hrs to keep it warm. sounds like a good idea. and both have the turbo feature where it runs the truck for a cpl min after shut down to cool it.

I used to have the autopage and is sweet for the price! I wish I would have yanked it out when I sold the truck but they are a major pia to install/remove. I now have the viper on my truck and it is just as nice. The autopage was my fav but make sure to keep your manual handy because it can be fun to remember all the mode entries. The 2 way pager is cool on it too!

I went with autopage, got a rs 730, its pretty sweet the guy even used the trunk button to turn on both of my seat heaters! I love it only had it a day but does everything i need and way more! thanks for the info yall!
