1.5k resistor mod
I ve seen both sides where people like and dont like this mod. personally i think it sounds awesome. gotta love the lope. is it safe?. how do you do it? whos done it? if i do it i want it on a switch so i can just do it every once in a while. how do you do this. already have a chip, i just like the lope, not looking to get power out of it.

You pull out your plug that goes to your ICP sensor. You put the resistor inlined with the with the signal return wire. (you should have 3 wires going into the sensor, one is 5v reference, one is ground, ones is signal return).
Whether this is safe or not i do not know. I have never done it but I have done it to a few buddy's trucks and they seemed to be fine. To put this on a switch all you would have to do is split the signal return wire and put a switch at the split. This will allow you to direct current either through the plain wire (no resistance = stock) or through the resisted wire (1.5k resistor = lots of lope). |

Also, in regard to the power thing, If you just want lope you put like a 10.6K resistor not a 1.6K the smaller the number the bigger the difference. A 5 pack of resistors is only a dollar, just buy everything from a 10.6 to a 1.6 and find what you like.
