New Intake

Haven't seen anyone with this product so far, but sure someone is using it. Great product, easy install as well. IMO, this is a true cold air intake. Deep box, 11 1/2", for plenty of air to circulate, both cold air openings (fender & grill area) and then, Volant is developing a Donaldson filter as well for these intakes. There are some out already with the Donaldson, just not in my year yet! Here are some pics.

To head off the remarks regarding the filter, yes it's an oilable filter. Prior to the install though, I cleaned it, twice, of all the oil like I always do. Just waiting for the release of the Donaldson to go with this kit! Will cost $102 though for the filter......................DAUUUUUMN!

Similar but the box is much larger along with the itake tube from the grill to the box!

Went 4x4ing today and the intake works great! As loud as when I had the open filter!

Donaldson is under $40...problem I see if they use a Tymar sized filter it sure looks like the size will restrict and block the openings..?
