Who's running a van turbo??? Chime in
I'm considering a van turbo vs. rebuilding the stock turbo. Who out there is running one of these? What kind of performance are you getting? What other mods do you have?

Van turbo is a great mod.
As far as what it plays well with, try searching a few threads and reading up on what other people have posted about and had good luck with. If it was me though, I probably wouldn't try to push to much fuel at it. Keep you injector choice limited to a 160/100 or smaller probably. |

I heard you had to run a little more fuel to make up for the lag. But I would like to hear what people have to say that are running it. I have one sitting at work that I would like to put on the truck but theres no point if she wont run. Hahaha.

She'll run.
Van's are running the same injectors as the trucks, and running just fine, on stock tuning. |

I run a van turbo, more lag for sure. The positive side is much more unrestricted flow.

Keep your van turbo. Best kept secret in simple 7.3 performance.

E99's are factory with a wicked wheel basically.
And I'd think you'd need a van turbo from the same year motor as yours. |
