Better MPG's with econo tune????

Hey yall i just got my dp tunes installed and i have been running my 60 hp econo tune 99% of the time for the last few days, my mpg on the truck readout is only.1 mpg better than running stock. Is this usual? I thought id get a bigger bump in mpg's. I havnt went through a full tank yet so i havnt figured out mpg witrh a pencil yet. I bout the tuner mainly for the better mpg, hope i didnt blow 1k for .1 mpg might take me forever to make tghat pay off.

fill the tank and get a calculator
i got my dp tuner in on Monday but have only 110 miles
i guess ill find out next week
(my phone has an application that gives me the mileage)

I have a Superchips 1805 programmer and when I use the mileage tune it doesnt help at all, when I run it on the Performance tune and drive it nice ( I always do) I would get between 15.6 and 17.2 mpg. Im pretty disappointed in my programmer, I was hoping for better than that

i found i got better mpg on my 120 race then my 80 eco back when i had my 7.3 it seems that the higher tunes get the best mpg

higher tunes do give better mpgs just have to keep your foot outa it. and by the way you spent 1k on a dp tuner?

Damn, I wish mine did that! Makes me wonder if there is something wrong with my truck?

When I got the truck i had one of the intercooler boots leak and i was getting 14
17 is with the winter blend and mixed city and highway driving (around 80-100 a day)
I don't really rev the engine over 2000 rpm and i think that helps
Realy hard to stay under 2000 with the dp tuner lol
