AFE Intake Question

Hi guys I'm new on here. I just bought a 99 350 powerstroke about a month ago and I looking for an intake for it from what I have seen AFE is one of the best. Anyway I was looking on AFE's website and it lists the model years on of trucks and says 1999 and 1999.5. It lists different intakes for each. So my question is how do I figure out if my truck is a 1999 or 1999.5? Thanks

the build date on your door jam.
before 12/99 is considered an early 99 i believe.

Yep there are differences between an early 99 and a late 99...

look on the driver door post for the sticker with the build date..built on or before 12/7/98 it is an early 99..a lot of guy's up date them though..the only thing early 99 on my truck now is the build date...look at the spider in front of the turbo...if the leg going to the driver side IC pipe gets smaller like the non painted spider in my pic bellow its an early99..if it stays fat like the orange one in the pic..its the late 99 set up..

Thanks for the help guys. I just went and checked out the built date and it is 2/99. So I guess I have a 1999.5. Now I can order the intake.

YOu are going to love the intake. Just put an AFE Stage 2 on mine. Big Differences.
