AFE Stage II w/Dry Filter

Just picked up one for one heck of a price. 350$ new. Wondering what you guys thought about the dry filter. Also, what will I notice when comparing the stock air-box to the AFE I just bought. It should be here tomorrow and on the truck Thursday but figured you guys could give me something to look forward to.

You'll get a little better throttle response as well as a louder whistle noise. Enjoy.

Same as above. Can't say how much power cause I installed my Turbo back at the same time.

Ok, got it on today and WOW! Love It!

Average of 100 degrees cooler EGT

More power (even had the wife take it to the store without saying anything and she came back asking if I had done something to it)

More turbo sounds, very nice but not obnoxious in any way.
Faster spool up

Makes about 2-3 more psi


In my opinion it is a great intake, it works and the quality was VERY high. All the sensors hook up.

I wonder what stage my AFE intake is.
Your seeing 2-3more psi? That makes me think i got a boost leak, cause i know i did see 20psi once and now i've only seen 17.

Well the boost level is very tune dependent. I can twit 10psi-30psi depending on the tune.

Oh your chipped? OK that makes more sence. When i had my DP chip in a week ago i was seeing 22psi.

Yeah TW, 6 tunes. Heavy Tow hits 30psi. Extreme 7-10. Street race 15-20. Smoke ? I never use daily driver.
