AE

Just got AE with Ford bundle to help with 99.5 problems not getting alot of information when using . Does anyone used it with this year truck or did I just blow 370.00 for nothing.

What are you trying to do with it?

It will read all kinds of data and run tests.

There is also a sub-forum here for help and questions about AE and other diagnostics.

well

Does not seem to give me anything except rpm, Was going to try on my town car and see what it says there. Also said smoething aboutOBD 2 not supported on my truck, But Thanks I will check out AE section thougth I had seen before but did not see it last nite

Yeah you should be able to pull codes and monitor all sensors in the truck.

Yeah I thougth so but it says chassis does not support OBDII Checking with AE tommorrow

You check all your fuses? There is one fuse that could be blown and you won't read anything. Also check the pins in the AE plug, I had one pin push back into the plug once, took me forever to figure it out.

I have one for my same year truck, it does a lot.....like another post said, go to the AE section.......if u need any help, pm me, I've gathered some good info on testing

also, remember NOT to plug ur computer into the powerpoint on the dash while running the ae
