7.3 muffler?

hi folks,

looking for a stainless muffler for my 7.3...

I recently had the manifolds, up-pipes and flange hardware done. pipe is still in fine shape. The original muffler was leaking a bit thru the seam- i've been waiting for it to go to replace it.

Not knowing which muffler I was going to go with, I had them straight pipe it for now.

-sounds cool but is a bit obnoxious. I like the added turbo sound and the rumble isn't bad but, it gets pretty ratty under throttle.

I know the Walker BTM is a favorite but, it's not stainless is it?

I just want a muffler that breathes right without a ton of noise. From what I hear the BTM is 3.5" all the way thru...that's what I'm looking for but, stainless.

What are you guys running and how does it sound on a stock setup?

Thanks!
-dave

MBRP makes stainless exhaust kits, I'm sure you could buy a stainless muffler from one of our sponsors that sell MBRP.

I have a 4" turbo back all ss system from magnaflow on my 2000 f250 7.3 psd and its pretty sweet. Quality is awesome, fit pretty good. And it has a nice smooth, slightly bassy tone to it. Only downside i found is it drones a little bit inside the cab on drivers side. but that could be from my door not shutting all the way.
