Question tranny questions

hopefully soon ill have enough horespower to actually need a tranny upgrade. am i looking for a better vb/shift kit a better torque convertor and what else? am i better off just buying a new built trans? any suggestions on the cheapest right way to go about this?

I live litterally down the street from BTS they make some awesome stuff. Pretty pricey though!

i think for now what im gona do it maybe add an external trans filter and the 6.0 tranny cooler, i also want to install a vb. what are you all using? and what do you recommend? thanks

6.0 trans cooler is pretty much the ****, bts valve body with a chip tuned for it and you'll be fine.

getting my x3 tuned by dp i reckon... gotta find that darn tranny cooler used 400 from dealer!! and bts anyone got a link cuz i find bts but doesnt seem like the right one.... thnaks

BTS Valve body, full ATS internals with ATS torque converter, maytech deep pan, and a monster tranny cooler with its own fan. Might be a little overkill but it seems to be working amazing for me
