Early 99 injectors question

I have an early 99 that am about to swap from an auto to a ZF6. I've already picked out an tranny and a nice valair 400 hp rated organic clutch. I've decided to go ahead and replace the injectors while im at it.

What code injectors do I need for an early 99. Im only wanting to run stage 1s so I will pick up a couple mpg and more power but still be able to tow very often. Any other upgrades I need for these injectors on an early 99? Who sells these injectors that has good feedback? Any problem running stage 1s on a stock turbo? Thanks!

I am thinkin AB if I remember right off the top of my head. AD are 99.5. I bought the kit from rosewood diesel for my early 99 and rebuit my own. That was an awesome kit and it runs terrific. I haven't had a problem with my stock turbo yet. Its a dedicated towing truck that hasn't had the trailer unhooked for a very long time. So it works well for me towing. Somebody else will chime in who actually knows what they're talking about. I just happened to be on and figured i'd give my opinion.

Look for some AC code injectors... 160cc single shots... Good injectors for a work/tow pig.

Well my mileage is irrelevant to me. Its an f-350 crew cab 4x4 dually that moves only when hooked to a 28ft gooseneck hay hauler, and has 4:10 gears. I have never figured it.

Tuning? I should but I don't have any. I junked the edge juice with attitude off my 99.5 for a custom tuner. I stuck it on the early 99 because of lack of funds for something good. (I did a complete rebuild on it from turbo to tail pipe) It smokes like hell if I turn it up and hammer it but I don't care cause I'm pretty easy on it and don't usually push it hard. I would recommend not going my route. I would never do anything to my late 99 without custom tuning. This one is just a mule.
