AFE Stage 2 pro dry S setting filter minder

Hi all first time posting here great site. My question/problem is I have a 2001 7.3 with a AFE stage 2 with the pro dry S filter, when I pull my 5th wheel toy hauler 15,000# or get on the throttle hard empty the filter minder goes up about half way. The filter is brand new so it is not dirty. This concerns me as it seems I have more restriction then I did with the stock air box and a K&N filter. The truck has an edge juice with attitude, MBRP 4 inch turbo back exhaust and banks turbo wheel. Any thoughts on why I seem to have more restriction then stock.

Thanks

I have the same thing with my banks ram air intake. Don't know why either.

Makes me feel a little better that it is not just my AFE filter.

Was told it was the cold dense air that I'm sucking in. But who knows anymore.

I have tried to contact AFE but they do not have an email setup that you can ask questions on and I hate to make phone calls.
