sct works ok, but for the came price (sometime cheaper) is a "TS" style chip, DP also is another one. there are LOTS of people who do the tuning but I say a TS style or DP is the way to go.

Regardless of how much extra power you want to make, for the money you will spend, a TS style chip is the way to go. Superchips and Edge are ok, nothing great though compared to the on the fly adjustability of a TS chip and all the available tunes you can select. The Wicked Wheel won't do anything for you performance wise but if you're having surge then it should cure that.

the debate rages on and on for the 7.3 on here and top picks dont include edge , banks , hypertech , superchips or sct. however a search will reveal lots about DP-Tuner, Tony Wildman , PHP and a few others. Get a good custom chip from any of these in the debate and i believe you will be fine. SCT is great on the 6.0' tho

And you really need some gauges to watch whats going on with all this and it will be highly recomended before adding power , wicked wheel will help if you are having surge issues...are you ?

I have a TS chip and i really like it, it just has the generic tunes on it: stock, high idle, 50, 75, 100, and 140+ hp. I have heard alot of guys say that the custom tunes are way better tho.

DP gets my vote! i absolutly LOVE my DP F5, i do want to try out a few others tunes though just to see who has theirs dialed in the best for the 7.3 motor
