stupid muffler-less turbo back question

so, I have a theory, and i want some other opinions. Irregardless of brand, a 4" muffler-less turbo back exhaust will flow the same, lower the EGT's the same, and create idealistically the same amount of power and torque, so in theory it doesn't matter if i use a 200.00 exhaust or a 500.00 exhaust because they will all create the same results. now im not talking about differences in materials and such but more of the results they achieve. Am I correct on this? is the only real differences besides materials the fit and finish of the exhausts?

As long as the bends are smooth and are not crimped your analysis is correct. The 200 dollar ones are aluminized steel and will rust over time if your up north like me. The thickness of the metal used is different in most cases also.

You are absolutely right. Which is why people recommend the 2-300$ systems over other more expensive systems.
