Live Tuning?

I see people on here talking about live tuning alot. What is involved? I assume they strap the truck to a dyno and play with it a little and then do a custom reburn on a chip and some tweaking.... am I close? Are there any shops or tuners in the midwest that are capable of doing this? What does a live tuning session cost? Im mostly curious but am also interested in possibly finding a place to do it.

I think the ones out here they run hills etc and tune it that way.

yeah if thet have a dyno they play with it on there for a while then they'll take you out for the drivabilty which where they fine tune shift points, tc lock up. at beans its like 300 for tunes plus 250 per hour it sits on the dyno
