IDM Mod?

I know about the search button but didn't find any info like I wanted. Is it worth the $100 to have it done. they say 15-30hp but if anyone has done it howed you like it? have an E99 and short of big $$ for more hp looken for kinda cheap stuff for a little more hp.

I didn't see huge gains, but I did a few mods at the same time. If you can solder, its an easy mod.

thanks, I can but still not sure if the risk of frying the board is worth the gain, I'll just save up for other stuff.

yea I saw one thread you said you toasted a board, thats why I dont want to open mine up.

the Injection Drive Modual er how ever it is spelled, puts out 100A to controle your inj's you can put a resistor in it to make it put out 120 er 140A to make more power but not much. Dieselsite does it if you dont want to buy it for $100 and I am gonna save up and do a $1,200 HPOP of some kind but wanted some cheaper HP.......guess I just have to wait.

It's easy to do. I did my 95 and 00 as well as a friend's 96. Could feel the difference on the 96, but couldn't tell the difference on the 95 or 00.

You will not make additional HP what you might do is gain power quicker at a lower RPM esp a OBS.

I did it on my 2000 and really liked it for what
it is it was worth the.time gave it better throttle response.

can someone explain how to do the mod? or can i buy a mod 140A from a website?
