12 volt source fir gauges
Hey guys,
Im putting a 3in1 glow shift gauge in my friends truck. the harness has wires for a switched 12 volt source as well as a 12v battery source. can i tap both of those into the same switched source? Ive only installed auto meters and there is only one 12 volt source for them. if any one has input that would be great. Thanks Will |

just run a constant to the battery and be done
the switched as probably for the lights or whatever the constant will keep the memory and make it ready faster if you must you can wire them to the same but its just as easy to run one fused wire |

I drew my power from the battery.
I have a second smaller fuse block drawing directly from the battery under my dash. It is switched with a relay to the ignition wire. Simple and clean for all my accessories. |
