Zoodad mod help

hey Ive been researching this mod for a few days now. Doing searches and stuff like that on here. I am looking for some help on what materials I need I saw one zoodad done with all stainless steel finish, where did these materials come from how big of a hole should I do?

Is it worth it, are there any drawbacks from it living in the northeast? I have stainless steel mesh here but should I use a stiffer grade then I have? Also can someone throw some pics of it done on 7.3's thanks a lot.

Chris

I drilled about 6 1" holes and covered it with a piece of screen from a window.....really easy....if your looking to fancy it up a bit just do whatever you like. It's a real simple mod.

Really don't see any difference at all but the concept of it all makes sense.

I didn't like the idea of a huge hole up front due to possible water intake, and Rual's screen looks good and fills in the hole but I'm a cheap azz.

Another member here is an enginer and graphed his on paper before drilling, his looks much better. Thats where I got the idea from. I just used lots of smaller holes.
