ts performance chip requireing transmission upgrade??

i have a 2000 7.3 that i have an aem stage two intake on, turbo back 4" exhaust, and im about to put a ts performance chip on it. those are the only performance upgrades i have. i know a person that can put in a stage two shift kit, but do i really need that if i keep it off the +140 setting? i do plan on doing it at some point, but is it necessary as long as i "go easy" on it? any tips would be great. thanks

dont just get a a regular TS chip... you def want to go with a custom tuned chip like this: Tony Wildman Chip

as far as the trans mods.. its suggested you at least put a shift kit or a valve body upgrade to help the trans last longer...

dont forget about your gauges! you need boost, EGT and trans temp

X2 what Raul said...you may also want to upgrade to a 6.0 Tq converter..
