unknown chip

so i have a superchips cortex for my 02 f250. when i bought the truck i found that it had a plug in chip in it, like the old school superchips. my question is that i recently plugged the old chip into my computer with the superchips tune loaded and the computer and now my truck won't smoke. i'm not saying that i want it to but just as a point of reference. i would think that with another chip it would smoke more. is if possible the the plug in chip increases the turbo flow and the superchips increases fuel and air.

get rid of the old chip.and that superchip aint gonna smoke like you want it too dude, everyone wants smoke, hell i like to roll coal somtimes...best thing to do is thro the superchip garbage away and get you a TW or PHP chip man.this will give you way more power than the super peice of crap chip, and a helluva lot more cloud

where can you get those chips from, it turns out that my superchips will work on my dads expedition so i might give it to him and get a new one, i really like edge or bullydog, i would like something that is adjustable on the fly. are the TW and PHP adjustable on the fly?

Whatever tuning is on the chip is what the truck is operating on. The Cortex programming isn't doing anything while the chip is installed. Oh, and don't try to perform a programming session with the Cortex while the chip is plugged in.

PHP, DP Tuner, TW. Get one of those and you will never look back. Custom tunes are the way to go.
