For us 7.3 strokers who push the speed limit laws. We are an massive footprint to get nailed. Installing a radar jammer (li Jammer etc) in the front with a good radr detector like a 9500ci, Redline, Valentine will radically limit getting busted by a LEO.

I was a cop for 6 years and I did not have to clock you with my radar to issue a summons (ticket). I had to visually see you and estimate your speed and the radar was just more proof on my behalf- but was not necessary according to law. These things (radar jammers) are not worth the big money that you have to drop to buy them and in some places they are illegal so beware of that as well. I understand getting in a hurry and just moving along enjoying the day and getting a bit over the limit. But to speed in the kind of excess that you would need a radar jammer … WHY? I usually run 5-6mph over the posted limit. No need to go any faster unless it’s truly an emergency. You won’t get there but maybe 5-10min faster anyway. It’s just not worth it in the end…… IMO.

I dont worry about the cops its the highway patrol, statetroopers, radar cameras. When you drive up the I-15 to las vegas driving 95 mpg gets u there alot faster then 5-6 mins. When the LEOs are hiding around the corners with there Lidar guns. Well concealed jammers and a RD is the perfect solution for me anyways. Picking up a LEO 1-2 miles down the road w/ with a good RD doesnt even give any officer a chance to even visually mark you.

If you're running that fast down the Interstate and lose pressure in a tire or anything the likelihood of having an accident goes up significantly. And the accident won’t be pretty at that speed. AND you are NOT the only one on the road. If you’re traveling 95mi then you’d make it in an hour and the maximum allowable speed limit would put you there?.... what 20-25min later. I just can’t risk my life and others on the road for an extra 20mins. An accident at 95mph will not be pretty regardless of the circumstances. And once again brother…. This is just my opinion…..

Cops around here don't use radar, they have some training class on how to guestimate just by looking, even while moving. And they are very accurate, I know first hand!

I want some spike strips just to dump out of the back of the truck when they come to get me LOl
