flex pipe for muffler delete?

So I have decided to go with a 4in exhaust, but don't know if I wana run straights or if I want a muff. So for the time being I'm gona do away with the muffler on my factory system. For maybe a month to decide if I wana listen to it. I know when I worked on semis we used flex pipe a lot. Is it cool to use as a delete?

Ive seen it done and its fine for a temp job, but i would deffinitly wed a pipe in for the preminate... Just plain looks better and has alot better flow through it.

well i hacked the muff out today and tossed the flex pipe in and I love the way it sounds, so Im gona scrape toether some pennies and purchase a 4IN straight system here real shortly.
