mbrp down pipe

hay guys i was going to buy a mbrp down pipe but my question is that i found some for 30 bucks but it says it is a 3.5in to a 4in is this true for all the mbrp pipes it would be really helpful if someone knew

I believe that the stock turbo only accepts a 3.5in pipe and that any 4in down pipe going on a stock turbo start as 3.5in and flares out to 4in almost right after the clamp....were did ya find that for $50 tho?

From the picture it looks like the diameter remains the same until right before it would hook up to the exhaust. In that case, other than being stainless, I would not think it would be anymore of a performance upgrade than just running 4" exhaust with the stock downpipe.

The one mbrp sells now goes from 3.5>4.0" right after the turbo and the ebay item does just the opposite, probably an old design, hence the price.
