Drone!
hey i got a 2000 f250 7.3 psd etc. And i have a 4'' magnaflow turbo back exhaust on it . Anyways i love the exhaust and how it sounds, smooth and agressive. But it drones a lot, whether the windows are open or closed is there a way to fix or reduce this effect without getting rid of my exhaust or going back to stock?. i really dont want to take off the exhaust it cost 800$ cad.

Is there a muffler on that system? If yes, that is your issue. 4" back to the rear wheel doesn't produce drone.

A muffler doesn't cause drone. I just took my stack off and put a 4" system w/muffler to take care of the drone.
To the OP: You might want to try one of the FTE resonators. https://store.ftediesel.com/home/vie...p?idCategory=8 |

How about the installation of any tip? I have noticed the tailpipe are always long enough for a dually installation. The tip my be loose or offset enough to be to close to the tailpipe and cause the vibration.
